Windows 10 Free Upgrade – Codenamed Threshold

Microsoft has officially announced Windows 10 is available as a free 1 year upgrade to users of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.  The latest Windows Operating system from Microsoft will be available as a pre-order.  The new OS is designed to handle work on multiple hardware platforms such as the usual workstations and high-end gaming PCs to thin notebooks and slim tablets.

Microsoft is spreading the word via the usual channels and also adding a notification into users’ task bars. Clicking on the notification (flag) will bring up a window which explains the benefits of Windows 10.  A much desire and missed feature, the START BAR is finally back!
