Increase in attacks against Cisco IOS devices

Princeton, NJ - August 12, 2015  - Blueclone has received several notifications that Cisco is observing increasingly complex attacks allowing attackers to gain admin access to Cisco IOS devices by installing a malicious ROMMON image.  Once the image is installed and device rebooted, the attacker can manipulate the device behavior to their advantage.

Word Press Vulnerability 4.2.2 and prior

The popular WordPress 4.2.2 and prior versions contain dangerous cross-site scripting vulnerabilities.  Misuse of these vulnerabilities could allow hackers and remote attackers to take control of websites using older versions of Word Press.

Users and website admins are encouraged to review the WordPress 4.2.3 Security and Maintenance Release on the WordPress.

Lync 2010 & Lync 2013 upgrade to Skype for Business

Princeton, NJ - June 18, 2015  - Blueclone Networks has great news for Hosted Lync 2010 & Hosted Lync 2013 customers!

Skype for Business will soon be available for existing and new customers. In the next few days existing Lync Server servers will be provisioned to allow Skype for Business upgrades and support (Lync 2010 and 2013 servers).   This will allow Blueclone's Hosted Lync users who have downloaded the Skype for Business client to transition to the new look and feel at will.

Windows 10 Free Upgrade – Codenamed Threshold

Microsoft has officially announced Windows 10 is available as a free 1 year upgrade to users of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.  The latest Windows Operating system from Microsoft will be available as a pre-order.  The new OS is designed to handle work on multiple hardware platforms such as the usual workstations and high-end gaming PCs to thin notebooks and slim tablets.
